Beautifully photographed, love the way you have managed to catch the sunlight and its beam across the landscape. So warming and enchant...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to read my page.

I now have a new home for my art see:

[link]

Red Bubble is a nicer environment and the quality and standard of the art on Red Bubble is amazing, I am proud to be a member of it and its free to join and no having to buy premium membership to use the sights many features.

I would like to thank :iconfractalrock: Fractal Rock for telling me about Red Bubble, you have kindly made it possible for me to enjoy a nice new home for my art and I have upload work to Red Bubble that I have not posted on here for risk of abuse as with last time.

The abusing member calls herself aurora-drifts  :iconaurora-drifts:  I have had vile foul languaged messages from this individual which are derogatory and un-called for.

The other reason I have become dishartened with DA is that almost every photo-manipulation I have submitted has been rejected wasting hours of my time, and when i asked for a refund of the additional 12 months membership I paid in advance for I was told this was not DA policy, not the way to encourage people to want to stay on here is it? It is bad business practice and this needs reviewing as it makes DA look like a bunch of money grabbing people who care not about the sensitivity of the artistic temperament of its members but more about fleecing them for hard earned cash, something that doesn't happen on Red Bubble.

I strongly recomment Red Bubble to all, come and join us at

[link]

I would like to say a huge thank you to SpiritMountain :iconspiritmountain: for sending me a lovely message expressing a sadness that I will not be staying on DA, at least someoe cares!

My daughter who also has a profile on DA under the name of Karlie67  :iconkarlie67: and whose art was coming on well, has ceased coming on anymore and has discontrinued with her art much to my dismay and sadness, and all because some insipid members bitched at her and rammed all manner of rules down her throat about submitting her work and credititing her use of stock etc, these people seem to have little bettewr to do than to discourage and stunt artistic talent, I am not happy by this either.

What should be a nice relaxed and inspiring place for artists to post and share art is nothing more than an elitist bitching ground that discourages decent artists with sensitivity and talent. Red Bubble is completely the opposite. DA needs to wake up and smell the coffee before they lose even more decent artists. mindpoet61 :iconmindpoet62: has left DA also discouraged by the elitist stance and not having any comments or attention work posted. This is all so sad.

I have just had a mail today (30th March 2010) from someone telling me I had used their Dolphins in my work without their permission, thing is that I always look in "Stock & Resources" for stock images to use in my work, so I assumed like many that it was ok to use what was in that scetion. What I found odd was that i found some of my work in Stock & Resources and I didn't sanction my work being put in there, nor did I purposefully put my work in that section either. So I am now of the opinion that there is something wrong in the mechanics fo this web site, and there is clearly some ill feeling amongst people as a result of this happening to their work. DA need to get their act together and fast on this, there is a nasty atmosphere on here and its spoiling this site, people are spending more time bickering and backstabbing and engaging in insipid mails than in creating art, this defeats the object of it all.  This whole site needs an urgent re-think. I cannot keep up with replying to comments and mails on here, and I have in recent weeks spent more time trying to do that than in creating new art, its madness. How many people are in the same boat? The site is hard to navigate and I have spent countless hours scouring the site for settings to change my the footer in my replies and all things like that, DA is tiring me so much now that I am just about done with it all. Red Bubble is so much simpler and less form filling in submissions too which is nice!

Make the most of seeing my work whilst it is still up here on Deviant Art once my membership expires i will be removing my work from here, meanwhile I am building up a gallery on Red Bubble.

I also design web sites so I shall be designing myself my own online gallery soon and possibly setting up a site like this one sometime in the future.

Sadly I paid in advance for premium membership and I wish I hadn't as Deviant Art have refused me a refund for part part of this, despite my voicing my disdain at the way I have been treated on this site. I strongly advise you never to pay too far in advance for membership it is not a wise move.

I am sad that what was once an enjoyable experience for me (being on DA and showcasing my work) has become a nightmare, with my recent experiences on DA putting me off interacting much with other members, prior to which I felt happy to review the work of others more avidly and enjoy the exchange of viewpoints.

Now I just feel robbed of my money (paid in advance to DA) and very disheartened. I hope you will not suffer the same unpleasantries it can stunt your creativity and put you off continuing to design.

Thank you in for any comments you leave for my work and for adding my work to your favourites, I try hard to return the favour but I am struggling to keep up with doing this, and more so in the wake of recent abuse suffered on this site from some juvenile and insipid members, so I am thanking you in my journal here incase I don't manage to get to you, I will try very hard to but I am swamped with hits to my mailbox and my works!

For those who have kindly commented on my photos of my cute cat Smudge I also have some films of her on my You Tube page if you fancy seeing her come to life on film! Here is the link:

[link]

If you love cats as much as I do, why not come and join my Deviant Art Group for cat lovers? it's called "Photogenic Felines" and it's at:

[link]

Membership is automatically accepted and you will be able to submit as many pieces of work as you wish, there are no limitations in my groups and this is just one of them read on to discover my other groups....

I am new to Fractals, until 4th February 2010 I had never even heard of Fractals and then I found out about Apophysis 7X (Apo7x) downloadable for free from:

For Windows 7 users:

[link]

Non-Windows 7 users:

[link]

I also discovered that Deviant Art had a Fractal Resources section and thanks to the genius of many people on Deviant Art, I was able to download fantastic flames for this amazing programme. Now I am having a great time creating fractals, though I am a mere novice and I am very much in awe of many fractalists here on DA, well done to them all!

In the main I design Fractals in "Apo7x" but I now create fractal manipulations by editing my fractals in "Adobe Photoshop Elements" and "MS Paint".

I have created a new group here on Deviant Art called "Fabulous Fractals" it's at:

[link]

Its a group for those who like to create and to view Fractals.
Everyone is welcome, I would love to see you there!
Membership is automatic and you will be able to submit un limited pieces of your fractal works.

I have also created a DA group for those into Fractal manipulations called "Fractal Manips" which is at:

[link]

I have a folder in my gallery where you can view my Fractals and my Fractal Manipulations side by side for comparison purposes and you can view this at:

[link]

I am also a very keen user of Bryce 6.3 hence my electronic art creations! It was an amazingly talented Bryce artists and fellow remote viewer Lyn Buchanan who kindly put me onto Bryce he has some awesome works on view at:

[link]

As well as working with Bryce 6.3 and being a keen photographer.

I have created a group here on DA expecially for the keen photographer, it's called "Photographic Fun" and its at:

[link]

As with all of my groups, membership is automatically accepted and you can submit as many pieces of work as you wish.

If you are into photo-manipulation then I have a group called "Photo-Manipulate and it's at:

[link]

Automatic acceptance of members and unlimited automatically accepted submissions to all.

I have always been into painting pictures with Oils, my own medium (Acrylics mixed with Marvin Medium) and I love to sketch with pencils and pastels etc. I love abstract and spiritual art.

I have also created a Deviant Art group for those who love Abstract art, dedicated to and in honour of the phenomenal symbolic light, metaphysical and spiruitual abstract painter JoAn Greinert ("UniversalVoice" on DA) it's called "Phenomenal Abstracts" and it's at:

[link]

I have also created a group called "Ascended Artists" which is also dedicated to JoAn Greinert ("Universal Voice" on DA) and this is at:

[link]

To view the phenomenal work of JoAn Greinert ("Universal Voice" on DA) see:

[link]

I am greatly honoured to possess many origianl paintings of JoAn's they adorn my home here in Rufford, Lancashire, and I will treasure them forever as I do JoAn as a very valued and special phenomenal friend of many years.

I also love fantasy works, and have created a Deviant Art group for those who are into fantasy art it's called "Create a Fantasy" and it's at:

[link]

If you like Surrealist art as do I, then why not come and join my Deviant Art Group called "Stunningly Surreal" it's at:

[link]

I am also a keen videographer and at one time a photographic model.

I am also a former TV scriptwriter for UK TV programmes such as:

"Not The Nine O'Clock News"
"Spitting Images" (Earlier ones)
"The Secret Policeman's Ball"
"The Two Ronnies" (Comical Newsdesk sketches)

I have a web site which showcases my zany political satire type humour which is at:

www.all-things-zany.com

(This is under construction at present but there is some material on there).

I am also a published writer/poet with a book in print called:

"Serious & Satirical"
By
Dr Karen J Stevens PhD

This is available from my publishers web site at:

[link]

And also on Amazon UK:

[link]

Amazingly, my book is selling so well that they keep running out of copies so its always hard to get on Amazon!

When I am not in creative mode I work at:

www.what-lies-ahead.com     (as their Principal Remote Viewier)
www.psychicsense.org        (as their Principal Psychic Consultant)
www.imala.org
www.imala.org/imala2.html
www.imala.org/info.html     (as their Principal Brain Entrainment Consultant)
www.eternaltriangle.co.uk   (as their Principal Mentor)
www.earthsense.org.uk       (as the Founder & Research Medical Herbalist)

I have started 2010 in creative mode, and my Bryce creations have just been prolific, this is immensely satisfying and helps me with my work in the Remote Viewing field.

Here is a list of all of my groups for easy reference:

"Stunningly Surreal"

"Create A Fantasy"
[link]

"Fabulous Fractals"
[link]

"Fractal Manips"

"Photogenic Felines"
[link]

"Photographic Fun"
[link]

"Phenomenal Abstracts"
[link]

"Photo-Manipulate"

"Ascended Artists"
[link]

All of my groups are 'super groups'.

Membership is automatically accepted in all of my groups.

I allow unlimited submissions.

All submissions are automatically accepted.

Everyone is welcome.

Hope to see you there!

After the recent disheartening experiences on DA I am now not as active with my groups and wonder if anyone would like to take them over for me, they are all paid up supergroups for 12 months?

Basically I am into anything arty! I have a love of diversity.

Thanks millions to all of you who have viewed my page and my work and also commented on my work, I greatly appreciate this.

Happy Creating!
Hugs,
Kaz xx
